Rohrbach Covered Bridge

The Rohrbach Covered Bridge was on township route 369 soutwest of Catawissa in Franklin Township. The Rohrbach bridge once was the oldest remaining covered bridge in Columbia County. It cost $183 to build in 1846 by Joseph Fulton. The William Rohrbach sawmill and lumbering business was located nearby until 1865. This bridge was to be replaced and moved to Knoebel's Grove Park, Columbia County. It was 64 ft. 4 in. in length, 14 ft. 5 in. wide and was of the Queenpost type. |
