Sam Wagner Covered Bridge

Sam Wagner Covered Bridge is located on township Route 468 North of Newlin and Mill Grove in Locust Township, Columbia County. It spans the North Branch of Roaring Creek. It is the second bridge on this site, The Wagner Bridge was built by A. J. Knoebel in 1874 at a cost of $849.50. Its walls are vertical board-and-batten and its floor consistes of horizontal boards covered with vertical boards and two runways over them. The covered bridge was replaced being carefully dismantled for later reconstruction. It is 56 ft. 5 ins. in length, 14 wide and of the Queenpost Truss design.
